My client, a corporate finance boutique with a focus on M&A and Capital raising across the TMT sector, are looking to hire an Analyst into their growing London team.
The role provides an opportunity to work with closely with partner level sector specialists with exposure to the full lifecycle of processes across buy-side, sell-side and capital raising.
Candidate expectations
- 18-24 months experience in a full time M&A role
- Previous experience in a bulge bracket investment bank, Big 4 or top tier corporate finance boutique
- Demonstrable experience at having worked on several Capital Raises and/or M&A transactions from engagement to completion
Benefits
- Base salary up to £55,000
- Discretionary bonus up to 100% of base
- Opportunity for promotion after 1 year

We are working with an award winning accountancy and business advisory firm that are looking to add to their Strategic Corporate Finance team in London. The team are active across all sectors with a particular focus on supporting businesses and their growth strategies.
The role
It is a pro-active, client facing role with real emphasis on supporting owner-managed businesses increase the value of their companies. This will involve working with founding teams to build and execute growth strategies, including working on fundraising and M&A processes where appropriate.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting clients in developing robust growth strategies to achieve scale
- Supporting clients through the equity and debt fundraising process, creating pitch documentation and presentations
- Assisting in deal negotiations with banks, Private Equity and Venture Capital firms
- Creating and monitoring project plans and managing the workflow of the project team
- Identifying networking and marketing opportunities, working with the internal marketing team to create initiatives.
The ideal candidate:
- 4-7 years' experience
- Commercial knowledge and the confidence to ask questions about forecasts and their practicality
- Experience in creating investment plans, business plans and forecasts
- Proven project management experience
- Demonstrable experience in building and maintaining client relationships
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
Benefits:
- Salary up to £65,000, negotiable depending on experience
